Playful learning with all the senses: The Montessori Sand Tray with Balls from Wooden Story encourages children to write shapes, letters, or numbers in sand – without the need for pen or paper. Traces can be made with a finger or the included wooden pencil, which has a calming effect and trains writing comprehension.

A two-part wooden frame contains one side with sand (approx. 200 g) and one side with ten smooth wooden beads – ideal for combination games, quantity estimation, or freehand counting exercises. The card holder, pen, sand, and beads are carefully coordinated and offer additional accessories such as flashcards if needed.

Crafted from FSC-certified beechwood, handcrafted in the Beskidy Mountains (Poland), and finished with beeswax and vegetable oils for a velvety-smooth surface free of harmful substances. The set is packaged in an environmentally friendly cotton bag and recyclable cardboard box—plastic-free and consciously designed.
