Carl Hansen - BM4570 Outdoor Chair

The simply beautiful Outdoor BM4570 chair from Carl Hansen & Søn was designed in the late 1960s by Danish furniture designer Børge Mogensen and is part of his Deck Chair series. The simple, slatted lines and solid teak construction of the folding chair provide classic, lasting functionality for a wide variety of outdoor spaces.

The BM4570 folding chair is reminiscent of the director's chairs of old Hollywood and is particularly comfortable thanks to its weatherproof Sunbrella fabric seat. It invites you to sit and relax.

Reimagined by Carl Hansen & Søn , this purposeful design contributes to bringing people and nature together in a thoughtful and inspiring way. Crafted from solid, untreated, FSC™-certified teak, its streamlined silhouette features carefully considered details, including gently rounded ends and evenly spaced rivets. Originally designed for Mogensen's private balcony, the chair folds flat when not in use and can be hung from the series' dedicated wall bracket as a decorative architectural object.
