Born in Northern Norway out of harsh weather and practical needs, Heymat combines tradition, design, and everyday usability. Founders Sonja Djønne and Thoralf Lian combine their knowledge of industrial mat manufacturing with a desire for aesthetically pleasing forms. This creates doormats made from high-quality and sustainable materials that absorb moisture, keep sand and dirt out, and yet can be elegantly integrated into entrances, hallways, or gardens. Each mat is a small statement: durable, shapely, and true to life – perfect for places where function and design meet.
