New Works - Table lamp Karl-Johan Smoked Oak/White Opal Glass

Inspired by a walk through an autumnal forest, the Karl-Johan table lamp by New Works takes on the shape of a mushroom. The oval opal white glass lampshade rests on a slender base of smoked oak – a perfect balance of soft curves and stable structure.

At 23.5 cm high and 23 cm in diameter, the lamp fits harmoniously on side tables, bedside tables, or window sills. With a 180 cm long textile cable and E14 socket – for a soft light ambiance in the living room or work area.

Each piece is handcrafted, which is why the grain and glass color may vary slightly – making each one unique. Designed by Signe Hytte, Karl-Johan embodies the combination of Nordic minimalism with a fine sense of form and atmosphere.

New Works stands for Nordic design with an artistic approach. The Danish label combines clear forms with high-quality materials and experimental expressiveness – always with the aim of creating spaces that radiate both tranquility and character. Furniture, lighting, and accessories are created in close collaboration with international designers and reflect a modern, minimalist way of life.
