Audo Copenhagen - Chair AA H72

In collaboration with Audo Copenhagen and designed by TORAFU ARCHITECTS, the Ishinomaki Chair "AA H72" is as simple as it is versatile. Handcrafted in Denmark from locally sourced Danish Douglas fir, the stool pushes the boundaries of DIY. Named for the shape of its profile, it offers unparalleled flexibility.

The untreated surface of the flat-packed stool allows you to customize it to your liking. The exposed screws, custom-made wood, and artisanal look demonstrate how innovative simplicity can be. The AA Chair is available in two sizes—medium or tall—and can be used individually or combined to create a wider seating area.

Ishinomaki Laboratory was founded in 2011 after a devastating earthquake in Japan to help the local community rebuild through simple DIY furniture workshops using existing materials and skills. The spirit of this initiative lives on in Ishinomaki Laboratory's Made in Local company, which supports communities around the world with DIY skills.
