Jora Dahl - Plant Seeds Yarrow Achillea millefolium Summer Berries
Description
Warm berry tones, delicate umbels, and a lightness that makes every bed look friendlier – "Jora Dahl – Yarrow Achillea millefolium 'Summer Berries'" brings exactly this mix to your garden. The perennial opens its blossoms in shades of raspberry, strawberry, apricot, and rosé, creating a vibrant play of colors that truly makes summer shine.
The fine, lightly scented umbels float above the delicate, feathery foliage, appearing both natural and elegant. In perennial beds, among grasses, in natural gardens, or as a colorful accent in pots – this variety feels at home almost anywhere and provides a wonderfully harmonious depth to the garden's appearance.
Bees and butterflies love the rich blossoms, and Summer Berries also shows its best side as a cut flower. Fresh in a vase or later as a dried flower – its colors remain beautiful for a long time and bring a calm, warm note to the home.
Typically Jora Dahl, this variety combines modern garden aesthetics with high seed quality and a color palette that instantly lifts your spirits. An uncomplicated plant that grows reliably, remains robust, and provides joy for years to come.

Sowing & caring for Yarrow
For a good start, begin sowing indoors between February and April. The seeds like it light: a very thin layer of soil is sufficient. Then simply keep them consistently moist to encourage faster germination.
From March – a little later in colder regions – you can also sow the seeds outdoors in small pots. A bright, rain-protected spot is ideal. Once the young plants are strong enough, they can be moved to the bed. Alternatively, yarrow can also be pre-grown indoors from late summer and then planted out in autumn.
A small tip: If the seeds are put in the refrigerator about a week before sowing, they often germinate faster. The cold stimulus is very beneficial for cool-flower varieties like this one.
In the bed, yarrow feels most comfortable in sunny spots. Water well, especially at the beginning, and provide light support if necessary – not much else is needed. The plant is robust, uncomplicated, and copes well even with drier periods.
