Planting instructions
Indoors, sow between February and April. Press the seeds gently and do not cover them with soil (light germinators). Sow outdoors in small pots in a location protected from rain and plant the seedlings in the garden bed later. Or sow directly into the garden bed. Ideal for sowing in fall and early spring. Germination can be accelerated by placing the seeds in the refrigerator for a week before sowing, as cool flowers need the cold stimulus. Poppies have very sensitive roots, so a pot suitable for planting is preferable.

Harvest poppies and cut them for the vase
The individual flowers are short-lived, lasting 3 to 4 days. It is recommended to steep the stem ends in boiling water for 7 to 10 seconds. The dried seed capsules have an unlimited shelf life.
