The sleekly beautiful BM5768 Desk folding chair from Carl Hansen & Søn was designed in the late 1960s by Danish furniture designer Børge Mogensen as part of his Deck Chair series. The foldable footstool is perfectly matched to the height of the deck chair in the series and is upholstered in weatherproof Sunbrella fabric, chosen for its natural appearance and ease of cleaning. It pairs perfectly with the BM1069 solid teak tray to create an inviting outdoor table.

Reimagined by Carl Hansen & Søn , this purposeful design contributes to bringing people and nature together in a thoughtful and inspiring way. Crafted from solid, untreated, and FSC™-certified teak, its streamlined silhouette features carefully considered details, including gently rounded ends and evenly spaced rivets. Originally designed for Mogensen's private balcony, the folding chair can be hung on the series' dedicated wall bracket as a decorative architectural object when not in use.
