Jora Dahl - Plant Seeds Bishop's Weed Ammi majus

Planting instructions
Indoors, sow between February and April. Press the seeds only lightly (light germinators). As autumn approaches, sow them outdoors in small pots in a spot protected from rain, and plant the young plants later in the garden bed, or alternatively from the end of February/March (in cold regions, it's better to start indoors in a cool but bright location and then directly outdoors from the end of March/April). Germination can be accelerated by placing the seeds in the refrigerator for a week before sowing, as Cool Flowers require the cold stimulus. Water well and support if necessary. Regular pruning extends the flowering period.

Harvesting carrots and cutting them for the vase
If the main stem is cut back at a height of about 20 cm, it will branch out and produce more flowers. The carrot is a wonderful companion flower that complements almost any bouquet. The best time to cut is in the morning. It will last for about 7 to 10 days in a vase.
