Harvesting amaranth and cutting it for the vase
Freshly cut flowers will last up to 2 weeks in a vase. The flowers can also be dried. To do this, hang the freshly cut stems upside down in a warm, dark place for 2-3 weeks, or until they feel firm. However, the blossoms are very fragile and can easily fall apart.
